About us

“AND THEN IT ALL STARTED”

RITPOL Spyrzyński was founded in 1991 as a small business entity in the picturesque town of Strzyżowice in Silesia.

Initially, the modest family business produced traditional breads for local food shops. The company expanded year after year. 1995 saw the launch of the production of confectionary products which made way for the first company shops selling their own products. After a few years the company already owned a few sales points in Silesia and well-developed distribution of baked goods and sweet products reaching out to the furthest corners of the region. In 2004, to meet market expectations, RITPOL Spyrzyński built the most modern production facility close to Psary, where the whole production of traditional baked goods was relocated to. In 2006, the company started light production of burger and hot-dog buns for local fast-food bars.

Currently our products are targeted at trade customers and involve only the gastronomy industry. Continuous infrastructural development and the improvement of standards allowed for the further expansion of the RITPOL brand to the furthest corners of the country and across the border.

The production of gastronomy baked goods progressively started to replace traditional baked goods. In 2010 we decided to suspend the production of confectionary products in Strzyżowice, which replaced the production of traditional mushroom toasted baguettes, and the following year the production of traditional baked good was ceased. By doing this, in 2011, the company completely reshaped the production profile to frozen fast-food breads and toasted baguettes which we still produce at both facilities today. In the following years, the company expanded its production portfolio to toasted baguettes, breads especially for Turkish restaurants, and, currently on top of the list, burger buns.

Currently our products are targeted at trade customers and involve only the gastronomy industry. Continuous infrastructural development and the improvement of standards allowed for the further expansion of the RITPOL brand to the furthest corners of the country and across the border. RITPOL Spyrzyński General Company is the only company in the gastronomy industry with 100% Polish capital. In 2013 the company was awarded the HACCP certificate.
